Closing session: Compagnie de Banque Privée... IT happens once in a lifetime !

The concept behind the Compagnie de Banque Privée (CBP) began with Marc Hoffmann’s and Norbert Becker’s observation that the operational model for private banking today is undergoing a profound transformation and that now is the right time for a new player capable of combining Luxembourg’s decades-old private banking tradition with a more Anglo-Saxon approach to the business.

Benoît Wtterwulghe began his career as an fund manager with Bacob Bank and Delta Lloyd Securities also as member of its Executive Committee, in charge of all support services, notably including IT, finance, back office and human resources. In 1999, he joined the consulting firm Accenture as Senior Manager specialising in banking processes. Before joining to CBP, he oversaw key project management teams at BNP Paribas Luxembourg, and was responsible for the centralisation of order execution, back-office and custody for European private banking entities.

Jean-Philippe, an engineer by training completed with an MBA from Warwick Business School, is a manager with 4 years' expertise in capital management and Basel II related topics, not only from qualitative and regulatory standpoints but also in highly quantitative aspects.


Speaker: Herbert Muck is Business Development Manager at Exigo since three years.He is in charge of supporting exigo’s customers in large scale banking system implementation or migration, by offering a comprehensive set of services combining banking (back to front) and IT expertise.
