FRSGlobal will present “Unified risk and regulatory compliance: the way forward to exercise effective risk and management control”. FRSGlobal, with 20 years’ regulatory reporting experience, and having recently acquired IRIS integrated risk management, offers a unique platform of combined risk and regulatory compliance; with reporting for 30+ countries worldwide.

Speaker : Dr W. Brammertz was the co-owner and Managing Director of IRIS which was acquired by FRSGlobal in August 2008. Before founding IRIS in 1992, Dr. Brammertz was an assistant at the Econometrics Department of the University of Zurich where he also wrote his PhD thesis. Dr. Brammertz speaks regularly at international conferences on risk management and has published numerous articles. Recently he has finished his book with some Co-Authors which is a summary of his over twenty year experience in financial analysis. It will be published by Wiley&Sons in March 2009.

Speaker: Paul Evrard is Vice President, Marketing & Srategic Alliances at ClearPriority, a newly-created Belgian provider of real-time Governance, Risk and Compliance monitoring solutions. He actively participates in the launch of ClearPriority’s activities in Luxembourg. Before joining ClearPriority, Paul led the creation of the Business Security Unit at Aprico Consultants, ClearPriority’s parent company. He has an extensive experience with international software companies, such as SAP and Siebel, where he was responsible for the Financial Industry and Public Sectors. Paul also teaches Information Systems Risk Management at ICHEC-Enterprises in Brussels.

Marc Hemmerling Before joining the ABBL in 2006 as Head of Organisation, Technologies and Payment Systems, Marc Hemmerling was senior Vice-President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) of CETREL, a company he was in charge of setting up in 1986. At the ABBL, Marc Hemmerling is currently responsible for three main areas: Payment Systems, Information Systems and Standardisation.
