Cloud Computing : Techonology Outlook and business
implications
Technology is becoming increasingly influent in our industries. It
offers many opportunities to increase productivity and address new
markets or players. More importantly, technology definitely
challenges and offers opportunities to business models. The buzz
around smarter industries, cloud computing, business analytics and
social networks is not only a buzz. The trend is there. And some
institutions already leverage these new technologies and concepts.
This presentation will give an outlook of the technology domains
which will prevail and change most in the next 5 years and give a
few examples of situations where the business can take advantage
and prepare for the future business needs. We are not going to
cover specific products or offerings but instead focus more on
concepts and what is changing today in the financial industry. This
is all about data or information, transaction flows, risk
management integration and delivery models such as cloud computing
or "fit for purpose" infrastructures.
